Big win for KITU : DLC ordered to reinstate the employees who were illegally terminated by the management of MPS Ltd

In a big victory for Karnataka State IT/ITeS Employees union (KITU), the Deputy Labour Commissioner, Bangalore ordered to reinstate the employees who were illegally terminated by the management of MPS Ltd.
 
In May 2021, two employees of MPS Ltd Bangalore were transferred to Chennai and Dehradun and the employees approached the KITU MPS Unit. The union filed an Industrial dispute in front of Deputy Labour Commissioner against this illegal action by the management. While the matter was under the conciliation proceedings at Labour Department, violating the Section 33 of Industrial Dispute act, the Management terminated both of these employees.
KITU filed a dispute against this violation of Section 33, and after hearing the arguments, Deputy Labour Commissioner ordered to reinstate the employees with continuity of service and back wages. KITU Vice President Comrade TKS Kutty represented the victimized employees.
 
As per the order both of these employees reported back to their duties in Bangalore office on 29-06-2022. KITU MPS Unit President and Central Executive Committee Member Comrade Sridhara ML and Unit Secretary Comrade Honesh Gowda received the employees inside the MPS office.
